Plot- The plot mainly revolves around two guys of totally opposite nature (one devious and one innocent) who fight against each other to get the girl. Also, it is about ‘Bitti’ (Kriti Sanan’s character), who lives life totally being the ‘fiesty’ girl in the small town due to which she is not much liked by society and also gets rejected by guys who comes to see her for marriage.

What’s good-  The flick  ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is the epitome of the line-‘tiny film with a huge heart’! The flick revolves mainly around two boys who fight to get the girl. The movie is beautifully picturised. One of the scenes which will command your attention is one where the father(played by Pankaj Tripathi)  of the girl (portrayed by Kriti Sanon as ‘Bitti’), who just talks to the celing fan in a deep manner showing concern about his daughter’s marriage. Pankaj Tripathi has played his role  as’Bitti’s’ father without any hiccups. Much of the flick rides on the two boys, who woo ‘Bitti’ in their own manners. The performanc of every character in the movie has elevated the movie at substantial height. Special mention of Seema Bhargave, who portrayed the role of ‘Bitti’s Mum’ in the movie, holds her own importance. She did the complete justice by being ‘annoying yet loving’ mother ,who most of the time is involved in an argument with her daughter. Kriti Sanon as ‘Bitti’, who inspite being from small town lives a modern life and refuses accept herself as a misfit in small town milieu, is adoring. Rajkummar Rao is a versatile actor and he is the one who is shuttled from one place to another as he is innocent and sweet. Having said that ,here in the flick, Ayushmann Khurana is a worthy competitor (in terms of his acting skills).

Rajkummar Rao

What’s bad- There are some scenes where the characters are seen a bit exaggerated. Also, at some scenes, Kriti as a middle class girl is not convincing and falters to get the accent right (interms of the place and feel the ick needed)

Conclusion- It is a film which has its heart in the right olace and little mistakes in the film are camouflaged by strong actors. It is a fun movie and should be watched!
